I'm dealing with quite a lot these days:
1. I'm in the midst of teaching.
2. I move on Monday.
3. No, we're not done packing.
4. My boyfriend is wearing an eyepatch.
5. I'm apparently giving a lecture Friday over human migration, though I know nothing about human migration.
6. My boyfriend and I are sleeping on a futon, since we sold our bed weeks ago.
7. I'm discovering that the futon we're sleeping on is MUCH smaller than our former bed.
and finally
8. The damn cat still has damn asthma.
But, that said, I'm still capable of taking a few minutes out of each day to browse the internet... and I have to give the senior Senator from Vermont props for provoking a classic deer in headlights response from former White House aide Sara Taylor. Bam!
I'd also give Secretary Chertoff props for his rather sobering gut feeling, except that I don't pay him to feel.
